Albumul ”MARI SUCCESE” – PREMIERĂ pentru România. 27.01.2017

On January 27, 2017 a grand celebration for the lovers of music took place at the Music Salon in Bucharest in honor of the release of Eugen Doga’s latest CD “Great Successes” produced by EUROSTAR.

The event was initiated and hosted by the great music expert and journalist Octavian Urulescu and the talented writer Oana Georgecu. Among the guests were various singers who performed certain songs featured on the CD.

Mihai Konstantinescu reminded the audience about the famous song Maria Mirabela from the animated film directed by Ion Popescu-Gopo based on Grigore Vieru’s poetry. Medea Marinescu, who had played Mirabela in the film when she was six, came on stage. Yuri Sadovnik, a performer, director, composer and a great lover of Romanian folklore of the near Pridnestrovie region, performed two songs from the new CD, accompanied by the guitar.

Eugen Doga was utterly surprised when the great Romanian director MirchiMureshan came on stage and presented him with a DVD set of his famous films. Among other guests of honor were writer and journalist George Stanka, sculptor Konstantin Sinescu, famous actors Stela Pepescu, AlexandruArshinel and many others.

Alina Mavrodin Vasiliu, the great singer and popularizer of Romanian romance music culture, came to greet Eugen Doga with a bouquet of flowers that had possibly been picked all over the town of Tyrgovishte. Mircha Kelaru, the vice president of the Culture League of Romania, gave a fiery speech.

On behalf of the Romanian Culture Institute Eugen Doga was awarded the Exceptionality diploma presented to him by the institution’s president Radu Boroyanu.

Culture Association "REGAL D’ART" surprised the composer with a piano miniature decorated with gold and Swarovski crystals. Engraved on the back is the following:

“If the Creator listened to Maestro Eugen Doga’s music, the Holy Bible would begin with different words: In the beginning was Music, not the Word….The power of its majesty is the energy that was given gods.”

Paul Surugiu Fuego invited Eugen Doga to become a member of the art project FUEGO. Among other guests were Moldovan ambassador Mr. Mihai Gribinchya and Valeriu Turya,  minister-counsellor of the embassy, authorized representative of the Romanian government, the ambassador, Mrs. Yuliana Gorya Kostin, composers, film directors, artists, actors, culture figures and regular visitors.

They expressed their admiration towards the composer, wished the Maestro good health and beautiful new creations. Flowers, autographs and friendly wishes created a truly festive and joyous atmosphere that emphasized the spirit of brotherhood, of that which has connected people over the centuries: of music.
